Winter Tablescape with West Elm and Fiber Florist
I worked on a really fun collaboration this week and I am and so excited to show information technology to you! Lindsay, who runs social media for W Elm Chicago (and who was the brains behind the Snap Kitchen Picnic final summer) came to me in October with an idea. She has discovered Vivian, aka Cobweb Florist, via Instagram and thought information technology would be fun for the iii of united states to work on a winter tablescape together. Vivian creates floral designs using felt and wire, and they are beautiful, and different flowers, they final forever!
On Tuesday, Lindsay, Vivian, and I met upward at West Elm's Lincoln Park store to create a tablescape using Vivian's florals as the inspiration and centerpiece. Vivian brought the most amazing white roses, holly, and greens and which inspired a rustic and colorful tablescape.
We chose the Reflective Drinking glass dinnerware because we loved the blue tones and subtle natural geometric pattern. I wanted to do something totally different from the glam white and gold tablescape I created for Thanksgiving.
Nosotros picked the Fishnet Woven Runner because we thought it would compliment the blueish dinnerwear while pulling everything together since the florals besides had light-green tones. Information technology also went with the slight dark-green tones of the Greatcoat Recycled Glassware.
The natural colored Belgian Flax Linen napkins mimicked the color of the roses and kept to the rustic feel. The Sculpted Metal Flatware has an industrial look that works well with the dinnerware. Silver Pinecone Salt and Pepper Shakers were a whimsical final touch.
I loved the final look and wanted to bring everything habitation with me. It was and then fun to get to play with W Elm's products while collaborating with two super creative women. I feel similar the projection fed me lots of ideas and will inspire the styling in my upcoming nutrient photos!
